About Me

I reside in the historical city of Hyderabad in India. I am a software professional working for a private firm here. I was born in Hyderabad but later we moved to Warangal due to my father’s job. Then pretty much my complete education has been in Warangal. During my professional life I have worked at many places both in India and Outside India. I am fortunate to have visited quite a few countries like Japan, UK, Scotland, Switzerland and USA.

My thoughts about India.

What I like

- - Cultural diversity - Even though there are so many religions, cultures, languages, dialects, castes, still good amount of harmony exists
- Historical heritage – Land of so many historical places and a place to one of the oldest civilizations on earth and so many architecturally amusing places
- The only country in world where minorities and both genders have held the top posts in the country.

What I Dislike

- Caste system and Reservations
-          Dowry system and the madness to have only boy child’s
-          Political environment that tries to use people for vote bank politics and makes people fight in the name of religion and caste
-          Lack of Civic Sense and Traffic Discipline
-          Demi God treatment of Politicians, Movie and Sports Celebrities
-          Lack of Social security by Government and Social responsibility by Citizens
-          Misuse of Democracy
Jealousy of people who put hard work and Sympathy for people who do not work

More Thoughts
There is a lot of talk about India is the fastest growing economy or being an economic super power. It might give a good feeling, but really how many are being benefited due to that. The % of population benefited is minuscule. On the other side, there are still so many serious issues that are not being tackled or not considered by Indian Government as important aspects for countries development.

My Social Responsibility

I am sure you would think what had I done when I dislike so many things. I do no say I have done lot of things or have done great amount of things. I have taken small steps in whatever way possible to me

- I do contribute to supporting poor people for their medical treatment
- I have started a petition for making traffic education as mandatory subject in schools in India

My Initiatives and Online Petitions

Initiative for Better and Safe India

Swachh Bharat was a great Initiative by PM Modi. India will need more Initiatives. Traffic Education is extremely basic in schools and also is taught only in few school education boards. It should be made mandatory extensive subject in school curriculum of all school education boards throughout India.
